Doors open at 3pm at Cicero Stadium (1909 South Laramie Avenue).
The day will kickoff at 4pm with an opener from our Junior Roller Derby team, the Chicago Riots. Skaters on the Chicago Riots are ages 10-17.
Moving into the evening, two teams from the Chicago Outfit will take on Fox Cities Roller Derby from Appleton, WI.
The double header kicks off at 6pm when the Chicago Outfit Syndicate takes on the Fox Cities Allstars. At 8pm, the excitement continues with the Chicago Shade Brigade vs. Fox Cities' 920 Honeys. Afterparty details to follow!
In addition to the action on the track, friends and fans can strike a pose in the free photo booth, compliments of 9 Muses Photo, and explore unique goods by local artisans. Food and beer will be available for purchase.
Tickets can be purchased online for $15 or at the door for $20. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
Doors open at 5 pm, the first whistle at 6 pm.

The Chicago Outfit will be doing a demo about the rules of roller derby and show you how we play at this special event in conjunction with the Elmhurst History Museum, and their new exhibit all about the history of roller skating!

FIRST BLOOD is part of a nationwide roller derby blood drive series called “Make ‘em Bleed” in partnership with the American Red Cross and Brown Paper Tickets. Make ‘Em Bleed roller derby blood drives have collected more than 1,100 units of blood over the past 4 years -- enough to have helped to save up to 3,300 lives.
At the beginning of our Boot Camp session on 10/15, we'll have a special presentation by our Officials all about other ways to become a part of the family! We have both skating and non-skating officials, so there's something for everyone!
