What a season this has been for The Chicago Outfit Syndicate! As The Chicago Outfit Roller Derby League’s WFTDA chartered team, The Syndicate has been working hard all season to get to the WFTDA North Central Regional Tournament. Now, with just a month to go before the tournament The Syndicate has been judged to be #20 IN THE WORLD by the premier roller derby resource and all around awesome team over at Derby News Network for their September Power Rankings.

When asked for a comment about this news, the Syndicate’s Lady K said, “OUTFIT is going to take over the WORLD!” But then added, “I’m kidding, we aren’t that cocky but we are working insanely hard and have come a long way to get where we are.”

The Chicago Outfit Syndicate was placed directly above the Arch Rivals of St. Louis on the power rankings. The Syndicate has played Arch Rival twice this year, once ending in defeat but more recently with a victory. The two will be facing one another once again in the first round of the WFTDA North Central Regional Tournament on October 7th.

Curiously missing from the power rankings were the Brewcity Bruisers of Milwaukee, who the Outfit will be playing this Saturday September 10th at the Windy City Fieldhouse.
