Q: How did you first become involved in roller derby?
A: I’m a screen printer, and my company, Replica Chicago (a.k.a. REP CHI), started making shirts, hoodies, and merch for The Outfit in 2009. I attended a bout in 2010, and thought it looked like a blast, so I bought some skates and joined The Family later that year. Q: How did you first become involved in roller derby?
A: My friend Martha Walls sent me a random text message, one day, asking if I could roller skate. She usually challenges me with fun fitness ideas so I said, ‘No, but I can give it a try.’ I guess I owe it all to my good friend Martha.

Q: How did you first become involved in roller derby?
A: I started playing with Arch Rival Roller Girls back in early 2009. Polka Dot Yr Eyeout (Arch Rival Roller Girls) threatened to beat me up if I didn’t get on skates, pads, a helmet, and a mouthguard and get my ass on the track. So, that is what I did. This will be my 4th season, and I love every minute of it.
Q. When and how did you become involved with roller derby and the Chicago Outfit?
A. I joined in the pre-season of 2011. One of the NSOs for the Outfit, Anachronism, suggested it as an activity that I might enjoy.I had free time and enjoyed working out and meeting new people so I decided to give it a try, and haven’t left.
Q. How long have you been a member of the Chicago Outfit, and how did you get involved in derby?
A. This is my 5th season playing roller derby. I originally saw the Chicago Sirens play and instantly fell in love with the sport. The next day I emailed anyone I could hunt down to find out information. I helped them out for the rest of the season and then joined their practices as soon as I was permitted to. Shortly after the league was disbanded and I had the honor to build The Chicago Outfit.
