We have some wonderful sponsors that support the Outfit. And we would love for you to get to know these awesome sponsors so today we are starting a new series! Sponsor Spotlight is our interview with a sponsor so you can get to know the people behind the brand! Today we are talking with former Outfit skater Scream Printer of REP CHI who customizes our scrimmage shirts and donates really awesome handmade prizes at our raffles.

Ruckus Homunculus: How did you hear about Chicago Outfit Roller Derby?

Scream Printer: I started making Outfit merch around 2008/2009.

RH: Have you ever seen a roller derby game/bout before being a sponsor for us?

SP:  Nope, but Jabs [a former Outfit skater] asked me to set up a table to sell my tees and I was hooked from that first bout.

RH: Please tell us a little about your organization and a bit about what you do.

SP:  My shop provides eco-friendly hand screen printed custom and original apparel.  While producing merch for our clients keeps us super busy, we also have a brick-and-mortar gift shop featuring civic pride apparel (REP CHI brand), handmade gifts, recycled wares and local goods/artwork.

RH:  Would you ever consider playing derby?

SP:  I did for five seasons from 2010-2015. :)  My favorite part of roller derby was passing it onto the little sister league: The Chicago Riots.

REP CHI is located in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago. If you're ever in need of an awesome handmade gift for someone (or for yourself), come and check them out!
