What's In My (Derby) Bag: Scarlett Bruiser

Photos by Fronzarelli.
Happy Tuesday! Today we are starting a new series on our blog: What's In My (Derby) Bag. I don't know about you, but I'm always interested in what people carry around with them. Looking in someone's bag is kind of like taking a peek into who they are as a person.
Our first guest on this series is skater Scarlett Bruiser. A look through Scar’s bag suggests she’s living a double life as the team apothecary.

What do you use most?
SB: My gear stink spray.
What’s the strangest thing in your bag?
SB: I have Herbal treatment for lung cleansing and respiratory support.
Name something in your bag that’s not derby-related.
SB: I have a mini voodoo doll – it’s somewhat Derby related – it’s wearing skates and is called Derby Girl.

What’s been in there the longest?
SB: Energy pills.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever been in there?
SB: Ice packs for breastmilk storage that were repurposed for injury needs.
What one thing in your bag can you NOT live without?
SB: Arnica. I can’t live without my Arnica.
