How did you get into derby? I’ve been wanting to play for years, however I was nervous about potential injury. I also felt other Chicago-area leagues wouldn’t be a good fit. Last year I talked fellow to Outfitter and friend Dixie Buttkix, and after she detailed her love for the sport, and especially for the Outfit family, I decided to give derby a shot. I attended the recruitment boot camps and had a ridiculous amount of fun. I learned this is an intense Sport with a capital S. I’m astonished by the skill, determination and kindness these ladies demonstrate. I am lucky to be a new family member.

Did you play other sports previously? Heck no! I’m an artist. I make things. And now I break things!

Random fact about you? 80’s soft rock ballads are my not so guilty pleasure. Hall & Oats are my everything!
